Perfect Score Badges Are Coming To The Network!

We teased that we had something big in store for you this year. Ladies and Gentleman of the Buzztime Nation, I bring to you the FIRST step in our new Player Loyalty Program... Perfect score Badges!

We have thrown a lot of changes at you over the last couple of weeks, and you have taken it in stride. However, these perfect score Badges are going to elevate your Buzztime bar experience, and it's just the beginning!

You will earn Badges by getting perfect scores on a question while playing Lunchtime Trivia, Countdown or The Late Shift. The Badges are content related, and they look amazing. Unlike PlayersPlus Points, which tell you more about how much time you spend playing, and less about the quality of your game, these Badges will award quick thinking and correct answers. The kinds of Badges you earn will tell you what your strong trivia subjects are, and which trivia subjects are your weakest.

NOTE: You can STILL earn PlayersPlus points,
this is not going away!

We’re launching this program with 100 Badges waiting and ready for you to earn (you can collect as many of the same Badge as you are capable). Many of our Facebook Players can vouch for how much fun it is to collect our Badges, and we have way more Badges on the network than we do on our Facebook app!

Wait! There is more good news... Catch your breath first. *Pause* Okay, let's go...

Not only will you be able to earn these beautiful new Badges, but you can immediately share them on Facebook and/or Twitter. If you set up Badge Auto-Share via My Social Connections you will get an extra 500 PlayersPlus points PER DAY, PER SOCIAL NETWORK.

Again, these perfect score Badges are just the first step in our new player loyalty program. More news on that will be coming throughout 2012. In the meantime, enjoy earning, collecting, sharing and bragging about your Badges.

UPDATE: To answer your questions about cheating for Badges, we've added the following FAQ:

Q: But then can't people on the west coast feed cheat?
A: No. You can only earn Badges when playing Lunchtime Trivia, Countdown and The Late Shift, none of which are on a split feed. Each of these games air on one feed and so there is no opportunity for the west coast to cheat.
